AFSMI Introduces New Membership Programs

 

June 14, 2007 – AFSMI announced new membership programs for both individual and corporate members today. In the first of a series of member webcasts designed to keep AFSMI members informed about the new programs, John Schoenewald, executive director, and Mike Davison, vice president of member programs, described three new membership levels available for individual membership and an entirely new corporate membership program.

For Individual membership, AFSMI has reduced the annual membership fee. Associate members ($99 renewal fee) get a subscription to Sbusiness and the AFSMI Newsline as well as preferred pricing on member programs and access to local AFSMI Chapters. Full members ($199 renewal fee) also have access to the AFSMI members-only website. AFSMI also offers an Extended membership level that includes an online training and certification course. Research and information provided to individual members will focus on skills development, career guidance and personnel management topics.

The all-new corporate membership program is designed to give services organizations of all sizes a convenient way to extend AFSMI membership benefits to their entire staff. Corporate membership includes subscriptions to AFSMI publications, access to the members-only website and passes to AFSMI Conferences. Corporate members will receive research and information on service operations, strategy, business development and organizational alignment. AFSMI offers tiered pricing for corporate members with fees linked to the annual revenues of the company.
